House of Pilate

The old half-timbered house on the Tiergertnertorplatz is called the Pilatushaus House. It was built in 1489, for the master who made knightly equipment - therefore, the corner of the facade is decorated with a statue of St. George, dressed in knightly armor. The basement of the house is made of pink sandstone; three floors were erected using half-timbered technology. The pediment with an octagonal turret was completed in the XVI century. Its name is "Pilatushouse".
