Sometimes it seems that if you listen carefully, the walls of the Eternal City will tell their own stories. However, it happens that Rome bothers, and the desire to escape from the bustle of the city determines the search for attractions near the Eternal City. That is why BlogoItaliano decided to find the most interesting places where you can go from Rome for 1 day.

Vatican

BlogoItaliano has written about the Vatican more than once, but we just can’t ignore it this time. True, in this case, you will have to travel not from Rome, but through Rome: the Vatican organically fit in the very center of the Italian capital.

Pompeii is located very far from Rome, but the place is worth it to go here separately. Who does not know the city destroyed by the volcanic eruption of the Volcano? Pompeii today is a rather extensive archaeological site and, given the time to travel, it is worthwhile to set aside a separate day.

Even a day trip to Orvieto allows you to get acquainted with all the sights, fraught with many riddles and secrets.
